ARTICHOKES WITH CLAMS
INGREDIENTS
6 small artichokes
1 cut of lemon
½ kg of clams
2 onions
4 garlic cloves
½ cup white wine
Minced of garlic and parsley.
Salt and pepper

PREPARATION
Clean artichokes and just left the heart.
Cut the heart of the artichoke into 4 or 6 dice. Then put in a saucepan some water to boil (to cover the artichoke) with a cut lemon and a little salt, when it is boiling add the artichokes.
After 10-15 minutes remove the artichokes and in a separate pan and put oil, 2 chopped onions and throw 4 cloves of garlic. When the sauce is ready add the artichokes and ½ kg of clams and remove a bit. The following, is to add ½ cup of white wine, salt and pepper. When the wine has reduced add the minced of garlic and parsley and let it over 3 minutes more before removing the fire. (don’t leave much time because the clams can be dry)
The dish can be made with clams, shellfish, noodles, cockles, etc..
